About JayMT & Silva – Mural Artists in Germany
Two artists, two backgrounds, one creative vision.
We are JayMT (Janine Trapp) and Silva (Carlos Silva), a German-Chilean artist duo specializing in large-scale murals, commissioned artwork and creative projects for public, commercial and private spaces.
Based in Walheim near Besigheim, Baden-Württemberg, we work throughout the Ludwigsburg, Stuttgart and Heilbronn regions, as well as across Germany and Europe.
Our artistic partnership began in Australia in 2020. Bringing together different cultural backgrounds, artistic techniques and professional experiences, we develop individual artworks that respond to their surroundings and tell meaningful visual stories.
From transforming public infrastructure and building façades to creating imaginative interior murals and original canvas paintings, we approach every project with a balance of creativity, technical knowledge and attention to detail.
Meet the Artists
JayMT
German mural artist, illustrator and visual storyteller
JayMT is a German artist with an international background in illustration, traditional painting, animation and large-scale mural art.
Her artistic career began at the age of 18, working as an illustrator for a major German publishing house. She later specialized in traditional 2D animation, developing her skills through professional experience and studies in countries including Japan, the United Kingdom and Australia.
After moving to Australia in 2014, she increasingly focused on murals and large-scale paintings, combining her background in illustration and animation with architectural surfaces and public spaces.
Her work often draws inspiration from nature, wildlife and storytelling. Through carefully developed compositions, expressive forms and atmospheric colour, she creates artworks that engage viewers while responding to the character of their surroundings.
Today, JayMT works on commissioned murals, public art projects, original paintings and collaborative artistic concepts with Silva.
Silva – Carlos Silva
Chilean mural artist specializing in urban art, realism and visual concepts
Originally from Chile, Silva brings a background in painting, urban art, visual communication and creative design.
His artistic journey developed through street art and graffiti before expanding into professional mural painting in Australia.
His work combines influences from urban art, realism and contemporary illustration, incorporating bold compositions, strong visual contrasts, three-dimensional effects and imaginative subjects.
Alongside his painting practice, Silva has experience in marketing and digital design, bringing an understanding of how visual artwork can communicate ideas, create memorable environments and connect with different audiences.
Working together with JayMT, he develops and executes murals ranging from nature-inspired compositions to architectural illusions, commercial artwork and large-scale public projects.
Our Work – Murals, Public Art and Commissioned Paintings
We believe artwork should relate to the space it occupies and the people who experience it.
Every location presents different possibilities. A transformer station can become a colourful representation of local nature, a commercial façade can re
flect a company's identity, and an interior wall can introduce a completely new atmosphere.
Our work includes:
-
Public art and municipal murals: Murals for transformer stations, public buildings, community spaces and other infrastructure, often incorporating local nature, history or cultural identity.
-
Commercial and corporate murals: Custom artwork for businesses, offices, restaurants, hotels and commercial façades.
-
Private wall paintings: Individual murals for homes, gardens and interior spaces, designed around the client's ideas and surroundings.
-
Commissioned canvas paintings: Original artwork created for private collectors, businesses and individual projects.
-
Live painting and events: Artistic performances and live painting projects for corporate events, exhibitions, festivals and private celebrations.
We work with acrylic paints, spray paint and other professional painting techniques, selecting materials and methods according to the surface, location and artistic requirements.
