A passage becomes a welcome.

Descending into the underpass at Besigheim station, travelers are gently guided into a painted landscape of vineyards, riverbanks, and swans — echoes of the town’s surrounding nature. Above, the silhouette of Besigheim appears like a quiet horizon, marking both arrival and belonging.

Created together with local school children, the mural carries collective memory and shared pride. What was once a purely functional transition space transforms into a soft narrative: movement through place, identity, and community.
